So you have finished decorating your whole house: from the living room to the kitchen; from the dining room to the bedrooms you have designed your home in the manner that you deem best. Just remember that the house does not only consist of what we see on the inside. Sometimes, whenever we renovate or at least redecorate the house we forget what is on the outside. That is the garden.
The garden is an essential part of any house. It is where the house communes with nature and where various plants are tended either for aesthetic or practical purposes.
One might think that garden decorating is very expensive: even believe it costs as much or more than the cost of cleaning the entire house. In fact, you can decorate your garden at a fraction of the cost of decorating the whole house.
If you don’t believe that it is inexpensive to decorate a garden then stop reading the guidelines below: but if you are an individual who believes that you can decorate a garden on a budget, then by all means read the guidelines below.
1. What is a garden without plants? You might choose a plant that is aesthetically pleasing have a practical use for you and your family. Herbs like oregano, basil and rosemary are wonderful plants to put in your garden because they will provide you with fresh ingredients for your kitchen.
2. Buy gardening implements and tools from discount stores. The items you will be able to buy at these stores are of the same quality as those you could buy at specialty shops. One thing about discount stores is that you can buy items in bulk and reduce the prices of the merchandise. For example you might buy flower pots in bulk so that they cost less. Most discount stores even carry seeds for as little as $1 dollar for 10 packets and that is a bargain.
3. Use all natural and indigenous decorations if possible. You can nail or tie dried branches together to make a beautiful rustic trellis or make an old-fashioned scarecrow from dried grass and hay.
4. Put a garden sphere in your garden by using an old bowling ball. You can use it as it is or paint it any colors you like. If you don’t have a bowling ball you can frequently find one at a garage sale and second hand store.
