At Sunrise & Pima Canyon

Having completed their residencies in Dermatology at the University of Arizona, Drs. Fiona D. Behr, Robyn E. F. Glaesser and Colin R. Trout have pooled their talents and resources to create a new medical practice, Ironwood Dermatology P. C. Ironwood Dermatology is located in a new office building at 1735 E. Skyline Drive on the corner of Skyline Drive and Pima Canyon Drive in Tucson, Arizona.

Dr. Fiona Behr is a native of Tucson. After completing her undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry and Anthropology at the University of Arizona, she worked in clinical research for several years. Later, graduate school at the U of A in Tucson provided a strong background in Pharmacology. Dr. Behr attended medical school at the U of A, and graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Doctor Behr is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology.

After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Religion from Dartmouth College, Dr. Robyn Glaesser worked in the medical research division of a large pharmaceutical advertising company in New York City. She graduated with honors from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. After completing two years of residency training in pediatrics at the University of Minnesota, she returned to Tucson to begin a second residency in dermatology. Doctor Glaesser is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology.

Dr. Colin Trout graduated from New Mexico State University with a BS in Biology. He then moved to California where he worked in the biotechnology field for several years. He then moved to Tucson where he attended the University of Arizona College of Medicine and obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree. He then spent a year and a half at the Skin Cancer Prevention Annex focusing on the early detection and prevention of skin cancer.

The doctors have recruited Kimberle Kennedy as Executive Administrator. Kimberle brings 20+ years of Tucson medical practice management to Ironwood Dermatology. In addition to her many contributions to local civic and professional organizations, she is President of the Association of Dermatology Administrators/Managers.

Ironwood Dermatology is currently contracted with Medicare, United Health Care, Health Net, Pacificare and Blue Cross Blue Shield. As a courtesy to patients, Ironwood Dermatology will file insurance claims with any insurance carriers offering out of network benefits. Additionally, as a new practice, they are negotiating additional health contracts to expand their patient base and services.
