Everyone likes to travel to their dream vacation spot. For some, that's Spain or Greece, for others it's Italy, France or Great Britain. And for still others, it's the Grand Canyon, the Colombian River, or the great forests of the northwestern United States. Towards the 11th century, Pisa and its port became very popular, and the city was named part of the Repubbliche Marinare, historically the four most important Marine Republics of Italy. During that époque, and due to the importance of its port, Pisa also was considered a very important commercial and economic centre in Italy, and the neighboring countries as well.

Visiting The City of Siena, in Tuscany - Among many other things, Siena is home of one of the greatest Romanesque constructs of the world, the Duomo, or Cathedral of Siena.
Cordoba - A city and a province. Around the year 710, Cordoba was invaded and came under the control of the Moors. During this époque, Cordoba was the largest and most developed city in not only Spain, but the entire of Europe as well, and a great number of constructs that nowadays can still be seen were built in it showing the clear influence of a distinctive Moorish style.
Madrid - A beautiful capital and vacation destination. The area where nowadays Madrid is located was already inhabited in prehistoric times. Despite this, the first important historical moment known about Madrid as a city dates from the 9th century, when a palace was built by request of Mehmed I in the same spot where the actual Palacio Real is located today.
Seville – capital of Andalusia. Around the year 1025, this city went through a short period of independence, after which it became controlled by Ferdinand III of Castile. Throughout its entire history, and mainly due to its strategically located port, this city has had an important impact in the commercialization of the products of that region of Spain.
The Small and Attractive City of Sitges - The first and most antique event in the history of this vacation destination is the Festa Major or Ball de Diables. The Festa Major was first celebrated in August of the year 1853, and since then it has become part of the traditions of the city.
Valencia – For an attractive port city vacation. One of the best times of the year for visiting the city of Valencia is during March, when the festival of Las Fallas takes place.
Vacation in Turin -An industrial city - One of the first important events known to have taken place in Turin happened during the 1st century BC, when a military camp was created by the Romans, and the first steps into today's Turin were taken. It was that construction that accounts for the 'chessboard-like' original design of the city - which can be still noticed at some areas today.
Amsterdam for Vacation - The city of Amsterdam is known to be one of the largest and most interesting historic centers in all of Europe. This city has an amazing amount of unique museums, cultural buildings, and historical constructs, as well as offering a very exciting nightlife provided by a large number of pubs and nightclubs.
A Vacation in Delft - During the 16th and 17th centuries, Delft was recognized as one of the most important and popular cities in Holland. Travel to Haarlem for a Great Vacation in North Holland - Towards the 14th century, most of Haarlem's buildings were made of wood, in such a way that, around the year 1330, the city was almost entirely burnt. This disaster was repeated two times more, in 1328 and in 1351. After these three fires, a large part of the city and many of its main buildings, such as the count's Castle, were completely destroyed.

Zandvoort - A Vacation Beach Resort in North Holland. Zandvoort is one of the most beautiful and popular beach resorts in the Netherlands. The town of Zandvoort, located within the municipality of same name, has a population of about 17,000 inhabitants who live in a territory of about 34,000 km2, with a density of approximately 500 inhabitants per km2.
