Below are the results of our previous polls and surveys. Interesting stuff! Polls and surveys are tricky matters, to be sure. Frequently, what occurs does not align with the polls or surveys regarding it. For example, 76% of those who voted - voted against the May 2006 sales tax increase. Still, the new tax passed. On a grander scale, in a recent ABC poll, well over 80% of the respondents said they believed that if a proper warrant is acquired, the offices of Congressmen and women can be searched. However, the elected officials (the people put in Washington to serve the will of the people) are still attempting to stop it. In any event, polls about our city are popular, and often revealing.
